All Aboard: Megaworld International Contingents Set Sail for the Cruise Incentive

Last year, the North America 1 Team made history in Megaworld International when it mounted the very first cruise incentive for its network. The Mexican Riviera cruise started from Los Angeles and sailed to Cabo, San Lucas in Mexico.

With the success of the first cruise, Ms. Marivic Acosta, Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Megaworld International, was inspired to remake this memorable experience. This time, instead of a cruise for another regional planning of a certain territory, she decided to have it as an incentive for all. Dubbed as the “Sell, Sail, and Shine Promo”, the incentive is open to all International Property Ambassadors who will reach the certain volume requirement from November 1, 2018 to October 31, 2019.

A total of 122 delegates flew from Manila to Singapore to get ready for the Asian Cruise which will start from December 8-11 in Penang, Malaysia, and Phuket in Thailand. I, myself, is also a delegate in this momentous event and I saw the excitement and smiles on the faces of all the delegates, especially the first-timers.

The contingent arrived in Singapore on December 7 and was lodged at Value Hotel Thompson. Some delegates had a glimpse of the Lion City while some attended the Thanksgiving Mass at the Church of Saint Alphonsus.

The big day started on the 8th of December when all the delegates were transported by buses from the hotel to the embarkation at the Marina Bay Cruise Center Singapore. It was a hectic yet fun day for everyone as Megaworld International mounted the Awards Night while inside the cruise ship. The awards night, hosted by myself and Ms. Celulu Hing, SAVP for Operations, using stage monikers, Tito Boy Abundance and Krissy Aqui-hing-no, was filled with glitz and glamour. Everyone was donned in their dazzling outfits. During the awarding ceremony, ALT Circle Awardees were honored for their loyalty for the past 5, 10, and 15 years of service. Special Awards were also given per developer. Raffle prizes were also given away and the ALT Vision Award was given to Europe 2 Team. The highlight was the Top Sales Achiever Awards for both 2018 and 2019, where FVP Angelita Contreras and FVP Ethel Lim emerged as the top territory heads, respectively. The event was even more memorable because the captain of the ship graced our awards night.

December 9 was the first disembarkation. Everyone was so excited to do sightseeing and go shopping in Penang, Malaysia. The following day, we were in Phuket, Thailand. The delegates had lots of time to spend together to become closer and develop the feeling of family. Upon embarking back to the cruise ship, the delegates enjoyed games, sumptuous food, world-class amenities, and entertainment.

With this cruise experience, everyone is again energized to exceed their performance in 2020 and to be part of the next incentive. Who knows? It could be another cruise. As the Latin phrase “Plus Ultra” means further beyond, Megaworld International is set to conquer 2020 with more exciting promos for everyone.
