“When everyone ardently plays their role, they surely reach a common goal.”

This 2020 is a year to level-up, a year to rally on innovations, and a year to prove that being in the Training and Business Development Group (TBDG) is more than a “clicker” and a “contract” that come along the latitude of work that our Mega frontlines have. It is a year to aggressively reach breakthroughs and zealously break boundaries as one unit. Last March 7 to 8, TBDG has invaded Unisan, Quezon, for their Strategic Planning and Goal Setting. They went up south and bound for an unspoiled and a no-network signal spot to guarantee that they get to bond as they blueprint their 2020 plans for the whole Megaworld International Division.
While many organizations understand the importance of strategic planning and goal setting, TBDG correspondingly established where they currently are and where they are going as a group. Playing each pivotal role to respond to opportunities and challenges that may approach in between was also a highlight over a sumptuous barbeque night. All ears for one’s opinion, the group was more than enthusiastic in confirming that “we” is always better than “I” in achieving common goals.
RECOGNITION AND REALIZATION
Through Sir Gerard Vito, head of TBDG, who was then in Europe for a work deployment, his team was able to further discuss the deeds that worked and those that did not work in 2019 based on the feedback of the territory heads. Because of Mr. Vito’s proactive efforts in gathering information to ponder on, TBDG defined both “recognition” and “realization” – recognition for the success of some of the projects they put in place; and realization on the things they fairly need to work on.
To further emphasize, the group was truly elated on the worthy feedback on TBD Cloud, special training initiatives such as the Train & Tour Thursday Sesh, 2019 local and international deployments, new presentation materials, paperless contracts, BD’s digital creativity, the use of REMS, the re-launch of The Frontliner, and a lot more. On the other hand, the troupe was also prepared and professional enough to deliberate on things they still need to improve on.
PLANS AND STRATEGIES
The group is also excited about their upcoming projects that will surely support MWI’s sales force in achieving the sales quota for the year 2020. To share, here they are:

· Webinars & Training Podcast
· Animated Explainer Videos
· Company Spiels & Autoplay Deck

TAKEAWAYS
Overall, this Strategic Planning & Goal Setting paved way for the team to vouch for increased operational efficiency and effectivity. Further, it also helped the group simplify and identify their common vision. They are already set for the sense of direction they will take through as one.
It is true, that effective strategy and execution may take more than effort and focus. To be able to hit the target, TBDG believes that it requires them to be gritty – passionate and persevering. What’s better than having a team who is committed to succeed and exceed? 😊
